Is the soccer player, the rugby league player or the basketball player the tallest? What about bulk? Is it the league player, the basketballer or the soccer chap. By soccer standards Christiano Ronaldo is considered a pretty hefty fella… and he’s not afraid to show off his bulk whenever he scores a goal. Daly Chery-Evans is a littlie by rugby league standards but that is pretty typical for a half-back. Patty Mills is about as tiny as you can get in a professional basketballer, especially the NBA. So, how do they compare?
If you thought Ronaldo was the heaviest, you would be dead wrong. If you thought that Mills would be the tallest, again you are wrong. If you thought that Daly would be the shortest, again you would be wrong.
Effectively, if you aren’t one to split hairs, the three sporting superstars are pretty much line ball in both categories. If they were walking down the street arm-in-arm you would hardly be able to see any difference between them at all. If you were a bit of a pedant you might notice that Ronaldo is maybe half an inch taller than Cherry-Evans and Mills who are both bung on six feet. While the three are pretty close in weight as well, Ronaldo is slightly lighter than the others at just over eighty kilograms. Patty is the fatty at around eighty-three kilograms and Daly is about half way in between.
Maybe this comparison doesn’t surprise you but it sure shocked me. I wouldn’t, for a minute, have put Daly Cherry-Evans as the same size as Ronaldo and Mills.
